The Sauna is one of those elusively modern pieces. On the one hand, it’s a sound and functional offering serving as either a bench, platform base, or table. But in typical mid-century modern style, the design is also fully indicative of progress. The question then becomes how a practical piece became a symbol of limitless creativity?
